Blue Angels Announce First Female Demo Pilot

Congratulations LT Amanda Lee!

Today the Blue Angels announced 2023 Officer Selections, to include LT Amanda Lee, the first female jet demonstration pilot for the squadron.

‍

LT Lee is currently assigned to the “Gladiators” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 106 and has been flying as a demo pilot for the Rhino Demonstration Team.

‍

In January, the newly selected officers will report to El Centro in California, the Blue Angels' winter home, for training.
