Each year, at the Annual ICAS convention, the ICAS organization recognizes Individuals, Teams and Businesses that have excelled in air shows within the last year. Categories include hospitality, sponsorship, marketing, air/ground operations, technology, special programs and event management.
According to ICAS, the awards are a tool for recognizing innovation and excellence among ICAS members. Each category has a Platinum and a Gold Award. Two of Air Show Network's production shows were the recipients of both with awards in the "Small Air Shows" category for the 2021 season.
The Great State of Maine Air Show received the Platinum Award for the Gold Star Family Program that ASN created. During the Friday practice show, Gold Star Families and Special Needs Veterans are hosted in the VIP Flight Line Club for a special viewing of the show.
The Great Tennessee Air Show was recognized with the Gold Award for being the first in-person air show following the start of the pandemic. The model of the show was entirely reinvented as a "Boutique Style" event with reduced capacity. Premium Boxes and Flight Line Club tables were the two types of tickets offered to ensure social distancing and ultimate guest experience.
ASN is proud of our Team who has worked hard to make all of our guests feel welcome and safe.
